We all know that house prices have been soaring and it's been harder than ever for first-time buyers to get themselves on the property ladder as they are completely priced out of many suitable homes.
But one recent listing has left people online outraged, as the home comes with a £415,000 price tag - even though the garden is overgrown and there's a hole in the ceiling in the kitchen.
The three-bedroom house in Surbiton, South West London, is due to go up for auction on May 12, where owners will be hoping to bag the £415k guide price, if not more than that, for their run-down property.
From the street out the front, the semi-detached home looks fairly normal, but you only need to peer into the back garden to see signs of wear and tear, as the entire outside space has been completely engulfed by the overgrown brambles.

A sprawling bush has taken over the length of the garden and has even wrapped itself around the shed at the bottom.
The inside of the house is also dilapidated, with the kitchen sporting a massive hole in the ceiling, wallpaper peeling off the walls and the cabinet doors off their hinges.
In the living room, people visiting the property on a viewing will find dated 70s carpets, and there is more wallpaper peeling away in the grimy looking bathroom.
One of the bedrooms has wafer-thin carpet pulled back from the floor, and the whole house looks dirty and in need of some major TLC - both inside and out.

Househunters online were left furious by the property, especially with the hefty guide price that would make it too expensive for many buyers even if it was ready to move into.
One person said: “House prices keep soaring. Fab example of a three-bed house in London, asking price over £400,000.
“And look at the condition of the house.”
While another quipped: “Ready to move kitchen.”

The house is on the market with auctioneers Allsop, and can be viewed online via Rightmove.
The listing makes no reference to the state of the property, but does advise that anyone viewing the home wears "appropriate PPE".
It states: “It is strongly encouraged that all viewers have appropriate PPE - mask and gloves - when viewing the property.”
On the plus side, the home does come with planning permission for a "single storey rear extension and loft conversion".
