Last night, stars from across the entertainment industry attended the 44th People's Choice Awards in Santa Monica, celebrating the achievements of icons from the worlds of music, film, TV, fashion and popular culture.

Celebrities including Mila Kunis, Darren Criss, Sarah Silverman and Fashion Icon winner Victoria Beckham descended upon the red carpet looking as suave, sophisticated and stylish as ever.

Check out the best-dressed guests of the night, from winner Scarlett Johansson to performer Rita Ora:

43 awards were given out in total at the People's Choice Awards, with Marvel phenomenon Black Panther winning two awards for Male Movie Star of 2018 and Action Movie Star of 2018.

Avengers: Infinity War also won big on the night, scooping the awards for best Action Movie of 2018 and Female Movie Star of 2018 for 'Black Widow' Johansson.

Johansson attended the awards wearing high-waisted black trousers and a red, checkered bodice.

She dedicated her award win to the armed forces, speaking highly of the US military in her acceptance speech.

"I love my job because it not only allowed me to connect with myself, but it allows me to connect with the audience, and so I really dedicate this to all of you and I also dedicate this to the men and women of the armed forces who put their lives on the line every day so that we don't have to. Thank you, thank you, thank you very much," she said.

Victoria Beckham was presented with the Fashion Icon Award, referencing hit Spice Girls song 'Wannabe' in her speech.

"I always told myself, 'Dream big and then dream even bigger.' And I wanted to show that if I can do it, anyone can do it. And what you can achieve really can be limitless," she said.

"I can't help it - if you really, really want it, okay?"
