People have been rescued from their homes in boats in Treforest following flooding from Storm Dennis on Sunday morning.
The River Taff overflowed in the early hours of this morning and Natural Resources Wales has issued a severe flood warning for the river - the worst of its kind.
People in Egypt Street, in Treforest, near Pontypridd, were evacuated from their homes on Sunday and were seen being rescued by workers in boats.
The river has overflown and is affecting those who live nearby from Pontypridd to Taff's Well
Pontypridd Town Centre was flooded as a result of the high water levels this morning.
Rescue workers were seen helping people out of their homes to safety.

Water levels continue to rise in the area as a large part of south Wales is now covered by a red weather warning issued by the Met Office.
The warning for heavy rain is the most severe of its kind and is in place until 11am on Sunday.
Rhondda Cynon Taf Council has asked residents only to get in contact if it is an "absolute emergency."
They said: "The council is asking residents to only get in contact this morning unless it is an absolute emergency.
"We are currently receiving an extremely large volume of calls due to flooding at numerous locations in the County Borough."
