People react in horror to 'abomination' after pint served in 'criminal' way at Irish pub for St Patrick's Day

Irish pub-goers have been sharing their dismay at a pint served at one bar to mark St Patrick's Day.

The drink has been described as an "abomination" and "a crime" after it was served with a festive motif on top.

The Irish bar presented the drink to one punter with the writing on top: "Find 3 words that rhyme with leprechaun."

Posting an image of the pint on the Reddit Ireland forum, the customer wrote: "Oh no, please God no... Was just served this. I can only hope it's just for the week that's in it."

The post attracted several comments from pint enthusiasts who were having none of it.

One person said: "Surely that's a crime."

A second wrote: "You're missing a few ml from that pint. Send it back and tell the barman to cop on."

A third person added: "Are bars allowed to do that to Guinness?"

A fourth chimed in: "I’d have handed it back."

Another said: "What the actual f*** is that abomination?"

While someone else entered into the spirit of things, writing: "Ah yeah, the phenomenon of the decepticon decathlon, depicted in the necronomicon? It was won by a woebegone Capricorn automaton if I'm not mistakeon."
