A mum has won widespread praise online for her simple method of getting through the household chores - making sure everything gets done when it should.
Othger mums have dubbed the method 'brilliant' after it was shared online.
The unnamed mum has come up with a simple but effective list - laminated - which details every household task that needs to be done, and how often.
There is a tickbox that shows when the job has been done, and tasks are grouped into daily, weekly and monthly chores, reports The Mirror .
She keeps the list stuck to her fridge, wiping it clean when it's time to start all over again.
"This is my new little cleaning checklist for on the fridge," she wrote.
"It's laminated so I can check it off and reuse it. What's the bet hubby will actually read it to see what still needs doing?"
The mum's daily chores include ding the washing up and sorting out the laundry.
The toilet gets cleaned weekly, as does the fridge, oven and microwave.
Then come the monthly tasks, like cleaning the windows and washing the curtains, which we have literally never done.
Other mums felt inspired by the list and were quick to praise it, although some questions were raised about washing curtains monthly.
