People left in stitches as pub has special 'delicacy' that is just a Pot Noodle

People have been left in stitches after a rather unusual pub menu was shared around, with a special combo some may raise an eyebrow up - a Pot Noodle and a pint.

Charis Scott-Holm took to social media yesterday to share a picture of one of the menus from The Sailmakers Arms in Yorkshire, which is known for its home-cooked food, music, real ales, and cider, as reports Hull Live.

But at the top of the menu is a 'Hull pub delicacy', a Chicken and Mushroom, Beef and Tomato or Bombay Bad Boy Pot Noodle with a pint for just £5.95.

The image has sent Twitter into a spin and many people commented on Charis' post to say they couldn't believe the menu was real.

Describing her awe after stumbling upon the offering Charis said: "Ah that famous Hull pub delicacy… a Pot Noodle and a pint???"

Some followers were left aghast, one said: "Stop it this can’t be real?" with the wisest advice of the day coming from another reply which read: "Just not in the same glass."

In their own description of the pub, the management at The Sailmakers says: "Situated near the Museums Quarter in Hull’s historic Old Town, The Sailmakers Arms offers a good selection of real ales and ciders, and quality locally-sourced home-cooked food.

"With our weekly events, you will never be without something to do. We have an open mic night on Wednesdays, a jam on Sundays and always something going on.

"Boasting a large sun-catching courtyard beer garden and an open fire, The Sailmakers Arms is the perfect retreat all year round."

The Sailmakers has a full menu available from their website with more details on the Pot Noddle offer there too. Find us there with a Beef and Tomato and pale ale combo very soon.
