People left baffled by video of woman breastfeeding cat on plane

A viral TikTok video that appeared to show a woman breastfeeding a cat on a plane has sent shock waves through the internet.

People were not sure what to believe as the strange video showed passengers and flight attendants arguing with a woman about whether it was a baby or a cat she had concealed underneath a blanket as she supposedly breastfed it.

However, after the video went viral, it was quickly discovered that the hilarious spoof was posted online by The Gooch, a Facebook page that hosts a variety of parody sketches.

But, believe it or not, there is some truth to the story as creators said the sketch drew inspiration from a woman on a Delta Airlines flight who allegedly began to breastfeed her pet and refused to stop after she was caught.

The original video was posted on December 16th and has gained over 1.5million views.

The clip shows a male passenger complaining to the flight attendant that the woman sitting beside him is breastfeeding a cat and not a baby.

The flight attendants attempt to confront the woman, but she refuses to lift the blanket to prove she is holding a baby and not a cat.

She accuses the flight staff of "invading her privacy" and says "it's 2021" while warning them they will be "taking on the liability" by touching her.

The back and forth continues until the woman finally allows the flight attendant to uncover the so-called baby.

It is then revealed that she was holding a stuffed animal as the woman declares it's not a cat. It's a 'lynx'.

While the video experienced success on Facebook, it was brought to a whole new level when it resurfaced on TikTok, as many were left confused as to whether it was real or not.

The four-part skit has since been viewed over 60 million times on TikTok.

The comment section on the videos became packed with people debating if the video was a parody or if it really did play out in real life.

One user wrote: "What's sad is people are crazy enough nowadays that we can't even tel if this is real or a skit."

While a second said: "Bruh this can't be real".
