Mancs have been making the most of the Good Friday sunshine.
Piccadilly Gardens was packed with sunbathers as people enjoyed their new freedoms.
Under newly eased lockdown rules, people can mix outdoors in groups of up to six.
But the sunshine is not forecast to stick around, with temperatures set to plummet over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Saturday is predicted to begin overcast, with temperatures around 6C to start.
It's set to turn cloudy by lunchtime, but, the sun is then forecast to shine around 4pm and well into the evening, before turning cloudy.
Rain is forecast to arrive on Easter Sunday evening, with temperatures dropping to single figures on Easter Monday.
The turn in weather might put a dampener on people's Easter weekend outdoor plans.
Yet people have been urged not to have large boozy gatherings in Manchester city centre.
Police have already issued a 48-hour dispersal order for the entire city centre following a number of large gatherings.

The order gives police the power to tell a person engaged in anti-social behaviour, or who is likely to engage in anti-social behaviour, to leave a specified area for up to 48 hours.
Failure to comply is a criminal offence and can result in imprisonment and/or a fine.
It may include confiscation of items such as alcohol and is available to anyone that appears over 10 years of age.
The dispersal order covers everywhere within the inner ring road plus parts of Ancoats.
The order will be in place from 3pm on Thursday 1 April 2021 until 3pm on Saturday 3 April.
It comes after two nights of gatherings that have resulted in large groups of people partying in locations including Castlefield Bowl and Cutting Room Square in Ancoats.
The M.E.N told how hundreds of people joined a rave in Castlefield on Wednesday night.
