People joke house for sale 'looks like a set for the next series of Squid Game'

There's a famous saying - never judge a book by its cover.

And this listing is a good reminder of why that sentiment is so true - as you'll see after taking a look inside.

With its attractive egg blue facade and huge garden - this incredible home is bursting with potential for the right buyer, who could transform it into a sprawling family house.

And there is room for off-road parking, besides the three-bedroom house in a suburb of New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.

Even the price is right. At £109,800, it's lower than the average house price for properties in that area.

But obviously, there is a small issue as the property currently stands.

After all, if something seems too good to be true, it's because it probably is.

There are some rather creepy occupants, that you would definitely be looking to eject as soon as possible.

They aren't alive (apparently), but it's fair to say that cursed dolls aren't the best thing to find in a semi-abandoned home.

It sparked jokes that the house could be used as a set for Squid Game - with contestants forced to take on the dolls.

One person joked: "The listing better say "Not Haunted" at least three times."

Another commented: "This house is what nightmares are made of. Forget the condition, that's fixable. But those dolls are definitely haunting this forever."

A third quipped: "These dolls were the reason Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp were down."

Others imagined the estate agents explanations as they showed prospective buyers around.

“Just a little bit of elbow grease and this lovely home will be ready to move in!” is how I imagine the estate agent pitching this house," wrote one person.

Another warned: "Here’s the next Squid Game challenge."

A third bluntly added: "This s*** is full of voodoo. Near New Orleans and you got these creepy-ass dolls in there? Voodoo out the wazoo."
