Primark stores will be among the most unassuming places you can get your Covid vaccine in the UK this weekend as officials rush to vaccinate as many people as possible amid the recent case surge.
The new Primark pop-up clinics will be in Broadmead Shopping Centre in Bristol and at the Trinity retail centre in Leeds allowing shoppers to pop into the clothing stores for their first dose.
Restrictions are set to ease in the UK from Monday despite the stark rise in infections associated with the Delta variant and so officials are hoping that these clinics in high volume Primarks and parks will encourage people to get their first dose.
Aside from the Primark pop-up, those who still need their vaccine can get one in parks across southwest London, Greenwich Park in London and Liverpool's Sefton Park, and even at the Tate Modern museum.
NHS staff and volunteers will also be at the Oval cricket ground this weekend for the British Open golfing championship so those in attendance can grab one too.
Speaking about the new pop-up plans, NHS medical director for primary care Dr. Nikki Kanani said: "You can pop into Primark, enjoy the sun in the park, and explore the art at the Tate, while also protecting yourself and your loved ones by getting a vaccine this weekend.
"From high street shops to mosques and sports grounds, our incredible staff together with our wonderful volunteers are doing all they can to make sure it is easier than ever for people, particularly young adults, to get protected."
