People in the emergency services can get into Blackpool Pleasure Beach for free on National Superheroes day

To celebrate National Superhero Day, Blackpool Pleasure Beach is offering certain people FREE entry to the theme-park.

The park has announced that ‘real-life superheroes’, who work in the emergency services, can enjoy the day at Blackpool Pleasure Beach free of charge.

Managing director of Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Amanda Thompson, said: "We value the incredible roles those in the emergency service sector play, risking their own lives and helping others every day and wanted to give something back.

"We’re proud to announce our exclusive free superhero tickets and hope as many people as possible can take advantage for a fun fuelled, family day out."

To gain superhero worthy access to the park, proof of job will be required upon arrival.

This will be accepted in the form of a work identification card or pass.

The public service roles covered include members of the Fire, Police, Ambulance and Coastguard services.

Those working in the emergency service can get in free of charge when attending with another adult paying the full gate price.
