People in one area of Merseyside are being warned to lock all windows and doors after a burglary.
Merseyside Police issued the warning on Friday, September 10, following a vehicle being stolen during a burglary on Coombe Road in Irby, Wirral.
Officers from Merseyside Police's Wirral team urged residents living nearby to lock their doors and windows following the incident.

A spokesperson from the force said: "PCSOs now conducting a burglary reassurance visit in Coombe Road, Irby.
"Vehicle stolen during the burglary.
"Door to door enquiries, check for CCTV, letter drop re further information and security advice to nearby residents."
The force is now encouraging people in the area to make sure their homes are secure with the following advice.
Double secure
Simply shutting the door won’t prevent burglaries. Double-lock the door every single time you leave the house.
Modern multi-locking and uPVC doors use a system of hooks and latches to secure the door but these only work if you lift up the handle and then remember to turn and remove the key. Remember – lift, lock and remove.
