Residents in north Manchester escaped the worst of the flooding chaos as the region was battered by Storm Christoph.
Crumpsall in particular was left relatively unscathed - aside from some very wet gardens.
Nobody seemed too worried.
Warning signs were placed on Blackley New Road on Wednesday, but there was none of the drama seen in the south of the city.
This is the River Irk running through Blackley New Road. Residents on this portion of the road aren't too worried about flooding despite the warnings.

One woman told me:"The River hasn't even bursts it's bank yet, if anywhere is going to flood it'll be the village." @MENnewsdesk pic.twitter.com/zEiKbGWy97
The River Irk rose through the day, with some areas leaking onto streets, but the damaged was minimal.
Rebecca, who lives on Mariman Drive, watched the river from her back garden.
"Our back garden got flooded yesterday, but we’re on a hill so luckily it’s not that bad," she said.
"It was quite high, but we’ve been flooded before so we weren’t surprised."
In neighbouring Higher Blackely, a mother-of-three was left a little more stressed after heavy rain flooded her garden.
She said: "Right now we're stressed it's made the fence weaker and my older children had to remove every thing from the garden so they didn’t get damaged."
