People have spotted a funny 'blunder' in Aldi's Kevin the Carrot Christmas advert

This morning the nation was plunged into festive fever as Aldi released its long-awaited Leafy Blinders Christmas advert.

The advert, which sees the return of last year's lovable vegetable Kevin the Carrot, has already been a huge hit with shoppers, and has the UK gripped thanks to supervillain Russell Sprout.

Aldi shoppers have spotted something hilarious in the Christmas 2019 advert

Taking to Twitter, people up and down the country have been praising the advert.

"Who had their alarms set for this ? Aldi you certainly get us all revved up and excited for Christmas when Kevin is soon to arrive," wrote one.

Somebody else added: "HELL TO THE YES! Best Xmas ads every year, by far. John Lewis who?"

"Once again I Love it! Well done Aldi!" said a third.

However, a lot of people seem to have missed one very small detail, and once you see it, it can't be unseen.

Posting on Twitter, one woman asked: "Why do they not have clothes on? At Christmas they have jumpers. are they naked right now? Is having no clothes on OK in the carrot world? Please, Aldi, enlighten me on this deep Kevin the Carrot lore."

THAT, MY FRIEND, IS A VERY GOOD QUESTION.

The advert sees Kevin dressed in a full tuxedo, because he's a boujee carrot like that, while his other half is dressed to the nines in a cheeky little pink ensemble. His kids, on the other hand, aren't wearing anything.

And in a picture of his family at home following his disappearance, none of them are wearing anything, which begs the question - are they naked?

Has the trauma of his disappearance left them all unable to dress themselves? Is clothing merely a choice in the carrot world? Do we all care way too much about the welfare and sartorial choices of a fictional carrot?

Come on Aldi, we need answers!
