People have been evacuated from their homes after a building collapsed.
Tenants of Knotty Cross Flats, on Halewood Road, were moved out of the building after a wall collapsed making the building "unsafe." Merseyside fire and rescue service attended with search and rescue crews cordoning off the area.
Allerton and Hunts Cross Lib Dem councillor, Mirna Juarez, visited the scene on Sunday, March 12, when emergency services were there. She said people were told to leave their homes while they wait for a survey report to be carried out.

Posting about the incident on Twitter, Mirna Juarez said: "Tenants were evacuated by emergency service at the Nook Cross apartment on Hale wood Rd L25 this afternoon. An outside wall collapsed making the building unsafe.
"They were waiting for a survey report and the owner of the building to turn up at the scene." She added: "I spoke to several tenants on Sunday. All said they had an alternative place to stay. I have also spoken to the landlord and asked him what he is doing to support them."
A spokesperson for Merseyside fire and rescue service said: "[We] attended an incident at Halewood Road, Liverpool on the afternoon of Sunday 12th March. On arrival crews found a four-storey building, approximately 30m x 10m, consisting of 10 flats in a state of repair.
"One side of the building had partially collapsed between the ground and first floors. The attendance of a structural engineer as well as Cadent and Scottish Power was requested and Cadent found no gas to be involved.
"Fire Service personnel ensured the gas and electricity supplies to the building were then isolated, and a thorough search of the apartment block and rubble was carried out with no injuries reported. All persons at the incident had been accounted for, including five occupants that were at scene.
"The building owner was made aware and attended the premises shortly after with an external handover being completed."
Images taken from the scene today, on Friday, March 17, show tradesmen are at the building. It is unclear if work will begin to repair the wall, however, the photographs show that they are using a boom lift 'cherry picker' to look at the roof and gutters.
