Dozens of people were evacuated from David Lloyd in Emersons Green this evening following a false alarm.
Firefighters were called to the incident at around 5.02pm today (Wednesday, December 4).
Crews from Temple attended the premises on Willowherb Road.
Photographs from the scene show lots of gym-goers stood outside the building after the alarms started sounding.
A spokesperson for Avon Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called at 5.02pm.
"One crew from Temple attended.
"It was a false alarm."
