People can't decide if the Queen's coat is blue or green

Forget PM Boris Johnson's plan for a Tory government.

For some, the main focus of attention during the Queen's Speech was the colour of her coat on Thursday (December 19).

The burning issue raised on the internet was whether the royal apparel was green or blue, Mirror Online reports.

One person on social media said: "The Queen looks chuffed she's wearing blue."

Another tweeted: "The Queen looks like the green triangle that no one eats at Christmas."

"I reckon Queen is in Brexit colours today? Better than the royal blue hat with yellow flowers after Ref2016. #fashiontweet #QueensSpeech," another said.

Another person added: "Is Her Majesty the Queen wearing #green clobber to signify favouring Green Party policies #StateOpeningOfParliament."

The debate is reminiscent of the 2015 internet debate on whether a dress was white and gold or blue and black.

Her Majesty delivered the Queen's Speech on the The Sovereign's Throne in the House of Lords chamber, during the State Opening of Parliament in the Houses of Parliament this week.

Britain has had its second Queen's Speech in three months as Boris Johnson lays out his plans, saying the new government will "release the country from the stranglehold of indecision".

At least we know that, after a landslide general election victory for the Tory parties, most people in the UK voted blue.
