People baffled by 'moving' optical illusion – but one in 10 can't be fooled

Optical illusions are the perfect way to challenge the way our brain perceives certain things. They tend to be deceptive to the eye, and aren't always what they appear.

What makes it even more baffling, is that two people can look at the same optical illusion and see two completely different things. Who could forget the viral white or gold dress debate of 2015?

There are also other types of brainteasers that can challenge your perception of things. More recently we shared one that tricks your brain into not being able to read words for a time.

Another illusion is supposed to show people what your worst personality trait is, depending on what you see in the image first.

Are you one of those who can't be fooled? (Jackpotjoy)

A new optical illusion is tricking people into thinking the image is moving – when in fact it's a completely still image.

In a new series of illusions by Jackpotjoy, nine out of 10 people who stare into the black hole will see it growing and moving. However, for the other one out of 10 people it appears completely still. Are you one of them?

The baffling illusion is designed to trick your brain, as the completely still image appears to move right before your eyes.

As you stare into the black whole, the shadowy, faded edges appear as if the black colour is spreading out, as if you were heading into a hole or a tunnel.

The illusion is also supposed to cause your pupils to dilate when you're tricked, according to scientists. This is normally what happens when you're in the dark, so you really are being tricked into thinking you're entering a black hole.

Are you one of the people who can't be fooled by the image? Let us know in the comment section below.
