Tarelle Thomas, a 25-year-old Swansea local who was in the area at the time, said: "I got off the train on the Saturday and crossed the road to use the shop when I noticed that a fairly big portion of the pavement was cordoned off with two police vans there. I had no idea what had happened, but the area smelled very strongly of cannabis."

The factory was located in the building that was formerly home to a CBD dispensary which has been closed for some time (Jason Evans)

The cordon remained in place for several days while officers attended the scene.

Nearly a week after the bust, people in the area are still complaining that the street smells of cannabis.
