Protesters outside of the current sex trafficking trial of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs are reportedly being paid up to $20 USD ($31.30 AUD) per hour to wear t-shirts that read “Free Diddy”.
In a TikTok posted by user @emilieknowseverything, a video depicted a group of individuals wearing the shirts outside of court.

The person filming the video also stated that another woman, shown in the video, was asked to wear the shirt but “refused”.
“I refused,” the woman said.
“He told me that it’s for a ‘Diddy coin’, so I’m not really sure what that is.”
This means that it may be more of a cryptocoin stunt rather than a statement on the disgraced music mogul’s perceived innocence.

The woman also said that she was offered to wear the shirt for $20 “an hour”, and that some individuals were paid up to $60 for wearing the shirt.
Combs is currently on trial in New York for alleged crimes involving sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, which he has pleaded not guilty to. The trial began on Monday (local time), May 12.
Combs’ ex-partner, Cassie Ventura, testified against him earlier this week, and outlined the harrowing abuse inflicted upon her in front of a jury.
Combs will return to court on Monday at 9am (local time).
