The queen of reality TV, Kim Kardashian joined world-renowned supermodel, Kate Moss, on a trip to Rome to enjoy a private tour of the Pope’s official residence, Vatican City.

The 40-year-old stunned in a lace, off-the-shoulder, figure-hugging dress, while Kate, 47, kept it classic in a conservative black dress. While people were huge fans of the friendship duo, there were a few questions raised about Kim’s outfit choice.

Chris Berg, took to TikTok, @chrisbringstheheat with a video titled, ‘Leave it to sweet Kimberly’.

In it, he asked the question many were pondering: “How this was allowed to go and see the Pope is beyond me.

“We have cut-outs, it’s bodycon...”

He concluded: “I just love the audacity of this woman.”

The video - which has racked up 161.3K views in less than 24 hours - also received hundreds of inquisitive questions and comments about Kim’s dress choice.

One said, “That’s incredibly disrespectful to our religion. Wear what you want, but when you go to a holy place you should be modest out of respect/tradition.

“I’m not religious but I find this disrespectful. time and place for everything,” another said.

“I’m not allowed to wear leggings to church wth,” one added.

While another pointed out, “I wasn’t allowed in unless my shoulders were fully covered”.

While it’s unclear if Kim covered up when she arrived at the Catholic capital, Vatican City is particularly strict when it comes to the dress code.

It states that all visitors must dress appropriately for the Vatican Museums, St. Peter’s Square, and St. Peter’s Basilica. Vatican City Tours states, “the absolute minimum requirement for both males and females visiting the Vatican City is to cover both your knees and shoulders. Preferably you should wear long trousers and long-sleeve shirts.”

If not adhered to, visitors will either be turned away or asked to buy a cover-up.
