McDonald's hasn't become the arguably the biggest fast food retailer in the world by making poor decisions.
Time after time it has brought out new food items that have wowed its loyal fan base while also managing its favourites such as Big Macs to ensure repeat business - making them a company worth billions.
But that does not mean it does not have its slip-ups which certainly seems to be the case with its latest launch.
People have taken to social media to express their disappointment over the chains new spicy chicken nuggets.

Many are claiming the spicy version deviates in no way from the original, other than they come with a 'spicy ketchup'.
People have been underwhelmed by the lack of taste and spice, some lamenting picking it as their 'cheat meal' while someone claimed they've 'never tasted something so mildly spiced and disappointing' in their life.
The nuggets are only a temporary addition to the menu so you'll have to think fast if you want to try them out for yourself.

However despite the bad reviews there are those that can't get enough it seems.

A Mcdonald's spokesperson said: “We’re delighted to launch our long-awaited Spicy McNuggets in the UK and Ireland, which have seen customers queue for hours to get their hands on a sneak preview box ahead of today.
"When eaten on their own, Spicy McNuggets provide a perfect hint of heat and this can be dialled up for spice lovers when paired with our new Tabasco-based Spicy Tomato Dip.”
