A man has been left speechless after testing out a viral hack that peels an entire boiled egg shell in one go.
There are many hacks out there that claim to conveniently get rid of the egg's shell, but most of them still ask you to spend a while removing it bit-by-bit.
Well if you're looking for a neat way to peel an egg in seconds, look no further as one influencer has tested a method making waves online. After trying it for himself, he called it an "egg-cellent" hack.
Instagrammer Dustin Hadley regularly tests new life hacks he's learned as a 40 year old and shares the results with his half a million followers. His latest venture involves peeling the shell off a hard boiled egg like the skin of an orange - and all he uses is a spoon.
In a clip shared to his profile @that40yearguy, a separate video shows a woman placing a hard boiled egg and a tea spoon under a sink of water for a few seconds. She then makes a small hole in the shell with the spoon and puts it underneath, before moving the utensil around until the egg is completely peeled.
He then stiches this with his reaction in a video of him saying: "For 40 years I've searched all over the world for the perfect way to take the shell off a hard boiled egg and I could've been doing this? Ain't no way."
"Alright I got my egg I got my spoon, lets try this out." After giving it a go, all Dustin could do was gasp in amazement at how well the hack worked. The comments section was quickly flooded by impressed viewers, as the results left their "minds blown".
"Mind blown! Definitely trying this the next time! A second wrote:"Just last night I was thinking there has to be a better way."
Others who had tried the tip were quick to back up Dustin. One comment read: "Saw that last week and: mind blown … it works! And it’s taken me 70 years to learn that trick!!!! .. so you’re way ahead of the game!" While another simply penned: "Love it I tried it too."
One of Dustin's followers praised him for his useful content:"I swear I have gratitude for your page! Teaching us how to do s*** that will simplify our lives."
The content creator previously shared a simple hack to neatly fold fitted sheets after learning of it himself. The folding trick now keeps him from "wadding up" sheets and stuffing them under the bed.
