People are furious at Channel 5's Britain's Favourite Crisps result

Ronaldo or Messi, The Beatles or the Rolling Stones, A New Hope or The Empire Strikes Back? There are many things that will always cause a hot and spicy debate - like what is the best crisp?

Of course there is no right answer, (it's all an opinion) except your answer. But what we can all certainly agree on is that Channel 5's two-hour long Sunday night show Britain's Favourite Crisp is wrong, very wrong.

They divided the crisps into a tiered pyramid with the very top tier being dubbed 'God Tier' - because that's what people on the Internet label great things.

In that God Tier were Doritos, Pringles and Walkers.

At the very bottom was Salt and Shake, Nik Naks (the 90s are furious), Squares and Mini Cheddars. Mini Cheddars being so low suggests six year olds with packed lunches did not have much say with this vote.

Inevitably, Twitter was riddled with furious viewers.

Other people were nostalgic about fallen comrades.

Other's were left confused and bemused that there was even a two hour TV show dedicated to the topic, particularly when the country if facing political uncertainty.

Referring to Twitter trends which ranks what users are most talking about, Andrew said: "#Britainsfavouritecrisps is trending 3rd in the UK. We genuinely do like in a country full of morons."

Roberta Seaport said: "You think Brexit is a ****show? There's a countdown programmed on called Britain's Favourite Crisps and blood is flowing in the streets from all the fights it is causing."

Hey, cool your jets angry Twitterer we just love potato snacks and want a fair poll.
