Pensioner who died in A82 Loch Lomond crash named by police

The pensioner who died after the motorcycle he was travelling in crashed on the A82 has been named by police as George Stephen Kelly.

The 66-year-old from Kilbarchan passed away following the collision with a car on Sunday, at around 2.30pm.

The driver of the Skoda estate also involved was arrested and charged with road traffic offences.

Motorists in the area faced disruption and a lengthy diversion as investigation and recovery works were carried out following the collision near Inverbeg.
