Pensioner who died after horror A82 crash named by police

A pensioner who died in a horror crash on the A82 near Luss has been named by police.

Margaret Henderson, from Kirkintilloch, was involved in the smash on Saturday, August 28 before she was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The 77-year-old died on Wednesday, September 8 from medical complications.

Two men, aged 51 and 76, were also injured in the crash.

Sergeant Nicola Taylor said: “Our thoughts remain with the family of Margaret and enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident.”

Anyone with any information should contact Police via 101, quoting incident number 2591 of Saturday, 28 August, 2021.
