A pensioner has tragically died following a horror fire in Glasgow.
Fire crews and police raced to a house on Corbett Street in the Tollcross area just before 4am on Friday November 20.
The man, aged 69, died as a result of the blaze.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman told the Record: "A 69-year-old man has died following a fire at a house in Corbett Street in Glasgow, on Friday, November 20.
"Emergency Services were called to the address at around 3.35am.
"There are no suspicious circumstances and enquiries are currently ongoing to trace his next of kin.
"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
