A pensioner has been taken to hospital following a crash at a junction in Oldham.
The man in his 70s was taken to hospital by ambulance following a collision with a car on Middleton Road, in Royton, on Thursday morning (February 4).
The air ambulance landed but the man was taken to hospital by road.
He suffered minor injuries, the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) said.
The road was closed for a time following the collision, which happened just before 9.30am at the junction with High Barn Street, close to the Coop supermarket.
A North West Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 9.29am to reports of a multi vehicle RTC involving a pedestrian.
“We have mobilised an ambulance and air ambulance to the scene.
“A man in 70s has been taken to hospital, by road, with minor injuries.”
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman confirmed that a pedestrian - a man believed to be in his 70s - has been taken to hospital.
They said: "We were called at around 9.30am to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Middleton Road, Royton."
