A 70-year-old man remains in a serious condition in hospital after being involved in a crash with a Ford Transit in Pool in Wharfedale on Monday, July 8.
The pensioner was driving a red Toyota Hilux car when he collided with the pickup van on Arthington Lane at around 12.20pm.
Both drivers sustained serious injuries in the crash.
The A659 was closed in both directions from the roundabout outside the White Hart pub to The Tower Drive for several hours following the crash.
West Yorkshire Police are appealing for information from anyone who saw the collision or either vehicle driving in the area at the time of the collision, or anyone who may have dash-cam footage.
