An elderly woman is in a serious condition in hospital after she was hit by a motorbike just after she got off a bus in south Dublin.
The woman, who is in her early 70s, was hit by the motorcycle while crossing the road just after she got off the bus on Ballinteer Avenue at around 7.50pm last night.
She was rushed to St James's Hospital where her condition was described as "serious".

The motorcycle driver, who is in his early 30s, was taken to St Vincent's Hospital with minor injuries.
Gardai confirmed said investigations into the incident are ongoing.
A garda spokeswoman said: "Gardaí in Dundrum are investigating a serious RTC that occurred on Ballinteer Avenue, last night 8 April, 2019 at approximately 7.50p.m.
"A woman (early 70s) was crossing the road after embarking from a bus and was hit by a motorcycle driver ((early 30s).
"The pedestrian was taken to St. James Hospital in a serious condition and the motorcyclist was taken to St. Vincents with minor injuries."
