Pensioner goes missing from sheltered housing in East Lothian

Police have launched an appeal after a pensioner went missing from sheltered housing in East Lothian.

Charles White was last seen at Johnny Moat Place, Prestonpans at around 1pm on Wednesday afternoon.

The family of the 86-year-old are now growing concerned over the elderly man’s whereabouts.

Police Scotland say that he was wearing a grey blazer suit jacket, dark red jumper with a dress shirt and dark coloured trousers.

Charles wears two hearing aids and has been described as having an obvious dark mark on his forehead.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police and his family are concerned, so we would appreciate if you can share.

“Please call 101 if you see him and quote incident number 2726 of October 2.”
