A pensioner found dead in Falkirk has been named by police as investigations continue.
Alastair Gray, 73, was discovered with fatal injuries in a flat on Grahams Road in the town yesterday morning.
Cops and ambulance crews raced to the scene at around 10:45am following reports of concern for a person.

A huge police presence remains in the area today, with parts of the building taped off.
Officers confirmed a man, 49, has been arrested and charged in connection with the death.
He's due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court today.
One neighbour, who didn’t want to be named, told the Daily Record: “I was working from home yesterday and heard all the sirens and when I looked out all I could see was a load of police vans and ambulances.
“There must have been at least 13 emergency vehicles at one point.

“A detective rattled my door this morning to ask if I had witnessed anything suspicious between late Monday night and early yesterday morning.
“It’s a very busy road, so I’m used to any noise and commotion, but I didn’t hear or see a thing.”
Detective Inspector Robert Andrews, from Falkirk CID: "Our thoughts are with Alastair’s family and friends at this time and we have specialist officers supporting them.
"They have asked that their privacy be respected as they come to terms with what’s happened.
"We are satisfied that we are not looking for anyone else in connection with his death."
