A pensioner had a lucky escape earlier this week after his car was flipped upside down in a crash on a Carluke street.
The driver escaped without any injuries following the incident on Tuesday (May 18).
He was helped out of his car and taken safely into an ambulance.
Witnesses say the man's car struck another parked car on Carnwath Road at around 8.40am. The force of the collision caused the car to flip over onto the road and land on its roof.
Police and ambulance rushed to the scene where the man was thereafter taken to hospital to be checked.

The incident happened close to Carluke High School but caused minimal disruption to school traffic.
A Police Scotland spokesman told Lanarkshire Live: "We were made aware of a crash involving a single vehicle which struck a parked car on Carnwrath Road in Carluke shortly after 8.40am on Tuesday, 18 May.
"There were no reports of any injuries and the vehicle was recovered."
