A camper van driver has died following a crash on the Isle of Lewis .
The 72-year-old was injured in a collision with a Ford Transit van on the island on Wednesday.
He was taken to the Western Isles Hospital where he died the following day.
Police said a 60-year-old female passenger was not injured in the crash at around 10.30am.
The two occupants of the Ford Transit , men aged 51 and 31, were also unhurt.
Sergeant David Miller said: "Our inquiries are ongoing into the cause of this crash and we are appealing to any witnesses, or anyone driving on that road around the time of the crash who has dashcam , to contact us.
"Anyone with information that may assist our investigation should contact Police Scotland through 101 quoting reference number 0965 of September 11."
