An elderly couple were blown away by a kind gesture in a Wirral hospital car park.
The self-confessed "old wrinklies in their 70s" said they wanted to thank two women who came to their aid at Arrowe Park and asked their granddaughter to post for them on Facebook.
Through her, they said: "Two young ladies, one was holding a baby, neither me nor my husband had enough change on us for the car park charge.
"One of the ladies immediately stepped forward and paid it for us using her card.

"We were so surprised at such generosity we walked out of the hospital forgetting to take the paid ticket with us!
"Only for the other lady holding the baby to come running after us to give us the ticket."
They added: "What a breath of fresh air these two lovely ladies are, to be so kind as to do this for us two old wrinklies in our 70s.
"Thank you both so much you are both a credit not only to your families but to yourselves and the beautiful baby."
