Pensioner arrested following firearms incident in Milton

A pensioner has been arrested after a firearms incident in Milton.

Armed police have swooped on a home on Cathay Street following reports of a firearm incident.

The alarm was raised around 11.25am on Monday.

Police confirmed that a 74-year-old man was arrested for firearms offences.

A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
