A man who made a violent threat to his wife while in possession of a knife will be sentenced on March 10.
The sheriff will also consider whether a Non-Harassment Order should be imposed on Perthshire pensioner Douglas Gannon.

The 72-year-old admitted that on July 14, 2020, at a house in Hall Crescent, Burrelton, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner, likely to cause a reasonable person to suffer fear or alarm.
He made a violent threat to his 69-year-old wife while he had the blade.
Previously of Hall Crescent but now staying at School Park, Kettins, Gannon had previously been charged with presenting the knife at her but had his guilty plea accepted to the amended charge.
Solicitor David Holmes said he had suffered a fall and was not able to appear in court.

The accused had his sentence deferred and was ordered to appear personally next month when the background to the incident will be given.
