Pensioner, 86, reported missing from his Bridgend home

A pensioner has been reported missing after last being seen in his home this afternoon.

Leighton Rogers, 86, went missing from his home in Bridgend at around 5.30pm on Saturday, January 11.

South Wales Police are now appealing for information that could help with finding the whereabouts of Mr Rogers, who is though to be wearing a dark leather jacket, along with black trousers and shoes.

On a Facebook post, South Wales Police said: "We are appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of 86 year-old Leighton Rogers who has been reported missing."

South Wales Police added: "Leighton was last seen at around 5.30pm today at his home in Bridgend.

"He was wearing a dark leather jacket, black trousers and black shoes.

"Anyone who knows of Leighton's whereabouts should call 101 quoting occurrence number 931."
