An 80-year-old man was assaulted while sat in his car outside a supermarket.
Gwent Police said a dispute broke out in the car park of Morrisons on Grange Road in Cwmbran at about 10.40am on Saturday, December 5.
A spokesperson said two men were involved in the dispute.
An 80-year-old man was assaulted while he was sat in his car but officers said he did not sustain any injuries.
Gwent Police would like to speak with a man who left the scene in a grey VW Transporter, as well as a witness who spoke to the victim after the assault.

"The offender fled in a VW Transporter, grey in colour," a spokesperson said.
"Directly after the assault a witness spoke to the victim and we’re appealing for that man to come forward."
