An animal rescue charity is looking for a home for a little dog who was thrown from a car after being used for dog fighting.
Penny the French Bulldog needs a very very special home who can look after her special needs.
She has neurological issues which affect her back legs, and although she can walk and she's not in any pain, she is not as steady on her feet as she should be.
Her carers at Almost Home Animal Rescue NI said: "Penny is an amazing little dog but she need s avery special home and we won't make any exceptions., we will wait until the right family comes along.
"She has a few physical issues but she is not in pain but with age this may deteriorate and she may become incontinent.
"Penny will need to be the only animal in the house. She does not like other dogs and becomes very worried.
"She needs a home with a secure outdoor space of grass because Penny’s feet knuckle and she can feel pain so walking on concrete and slabs under her paws will hurt her.
"Sadly she cannot be walked, so a family/person who will do lots for her at home and she doesn’t really enjoy the car though we are working on that.
"Her new family who will need to take her for regular vet check ups help if her feet become sore.
"We are looking for home with no children under 16, French Bulldog breed experience is preferred but not essential and we want someone who will love this happy girl as much as we do.
"After an horrible start in life we hope she will have a happy ending."
