Penny Lancaster has shared an update on her husband, Sir Rod Stewart.
The devoted wife of the music icon has revealed that he is back to full fitness after his knee replacement operation last month.
Rod, 75, has finally returned to the stage and he's well and truly back in the saddle.
The preparing for a gruelling schedule which begins in Las Vegas next week.
Loose Women star Penny revealed that the 'Sailing' singer has already finished two secret shows.
"He’s just done two private shows in Florida and he said, ‘My knee is better now than it has ever been’.
"He said he was running sideways and it has all been sorted.
"He is like a masterclass of knee replacement – and there is no stopping him.”
The 48-year-old added: "Rod is like 75 and he has three weeks in Vegas.
"He then has a two-month tour in America and then we are off to Australia for September and October."
The First Cut is the Deepest singer Sir Rod talked last year about the upcoming surgery.
Despite the fact he was undergoing a rather serious procedure, the star reassured fans that it wouldn't affect his concerts.
He said: "I am going to have a full knee replacement.
"But it really won’t affect the shows. I don’t jump about like I used to, so it won't make much of a diffeence.
"After all, I am there to sing, not to do trapeze work.
"I don’t play football now as my right knee has packed up."
Rod added that he was “happier than ever" as he's grown older, and truly knows who he is now.
He said: "I’m comfortable in my own shell now."
After the operation, Penny posted a photo online of Rod in hospital cutting his birthday cake.
She captioned it: "The naughty boy keeps trying to walk without his crutches."
The happy pair wed in 2007 and have since had sons Alastair and Aiden Stewart.
