It’s a tempting procedure for men with small penises , but new advice may put you off having penis enlargement surgery.
Two experts have warned of the dangers of penis enlargement, which they say is linked to an ‘epidemic of problems.’
In particular, the experts have advised against men having a procedure that involves injecting a jelly-like substance into the skin.
Speaking to The National , Dr Alex Wanganapi, chief executive at Caving General Hospital, explained that the jelly only causes the skin tissue to swell, and doesn’t actually increase the size of the penis.

Dr Wanganapi said that he has treated two men following the risky treatment, and knew of at least five other cases.
Worryingly, another expert has revealed that the jelly can even disfigure the penis, leaving men unable to have sex.
Professor Glen Mola, an expert in reproductive health at the University of Papua New Guinea, said: “I started seeing men with penile enhancement complications 10 years ago.

“But recently I see and also hear from medical colleagues that there is literally an epidemic of problems associated with this activity.”
And in some cases, the damage caused to the penis is irreversible, meaning erections and sex can be painful.
Professor Mola added that while it’s normal for men to want a bigger penis, he would strongly advise against inserting foreign materials into their member to achieve this goal.
