If unusual music festivals are your bag, then Plymouth may be your place next month. The Peninsula Arts contemporary music festival's Re-Sounding Science series includes a live duet between a violinist (human) and some particles (subatomic); Mind Pieces, by Eduardo Miranda, the result of 13 years of scientific research; and an exploration of the cultural significance of whales. It runs 10-13 February.
