Pembrokeshire Murders viewers find Luke Evans 'so distracting'

The Pembrokeshire Murders is ITV's latest true-crime drama and after one episode, viewers are gripped.

The mini-series depicts the events which led to the conviction of a cold-blooded serial killer.

But despite the pretty grim story, viewers are simply being distracted by Luke Evans.

The Welsh actor, who takes the role of Senior Investigating Officer Steve Wilkins, has caught fans attentions for a few reasons - including ironing in his underpants.

"How am I going to watch #pembrokeshiremurders on @ITV? Luke Evans is so distracting," wrote one fan.

Another swooned: "Luke Evans ironing in his pants is the pick me up 2021 needed #pembrokeshiremurders."

"I'm not the only one watching #pembrokeshiremurders for Luke Evans, am I?!" asked a third.

Viewers have had a lot to say about Luke (ITV)

A fourth gushed: "One thing I do know from watching 5 minutes of Pembrokeshire Murders is that Luke Evans is just bloody exquisite. #pembrokeshiremurders @TheRealLukevans."

The new drama has been adapted from the true crime book, Catching the Bullseye Killer, written by Steve Wilkins and ITV news journalist Jonathan Hill.

The book gives an in-depth account of the extraordinary cold case investigation: Operation Ottawa, which took place between 2006 and 2011, which lead to the conviction of serial killer John Cooper.
