Motorists have been warned 'delays are likely' as a Clifton road is set to close from today (December 13.)

A five-minute long diversion route is in place along Alma Road, Whiteladies Road, St. Paul's Road and Queen's Road.

The road will be shut from Monday, December 13 to Friday, December 17.

The works are anticipated to take place between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

A closure is in place as Wessex Water carry out sewer works in the area.

Delays are also likely on St. Michael's Hill today as a road closure is in place from 9am (December 13) to 5pm tomorrow (December 14.)

There is a four-minute diversion route in place through Cotham Road and Horfield Road.

It comes as the council is carrying out essential roadworks in the area.
