Police are appealing for witnesses after a pellet was fired through the window of a home in a Nottinghamshire town.

The pellet, which is believed to have been fired from a BB gun or air rifle, caused damage to the upstairs window of a property which backed onto the Linear Walk nature reserve in Bingham.

The incident happened on Friday, November 29.

Rushcliffe South Police, which covers Radcliffe, Bingham, Cotgrave, Leake and Keyworth, added: "Were you in the area of Linear Walk, did you see anything suspicious?

"If so, please call the force control room on 101 and quote incident number 000346-29112019."
