Pelicans vs. Rockets Recap: The good, the bad and the Lonzo Ball (Feb. 9)

The Pelicans won their fourth game in a row and sixth in their last eight games by running away from the Rockets in the second half on Tuesday, winning 130-101.

After a back-and-forth opening 18 minutes, New Orleans used a 19-5 run to open up a big lead by halftime and quickly expanded that lead to 20 points in the third and, save for a run late in the third period from Houston, barely looked back as they won going away.

Zion Williamson scored 20 points on 6-of-10 shooting in 21 minutes after dealing with foul trouble most of the night. Josh Hart scored 20 points off the bench while Brandon Ingram added 22 and Lonzo Ball 15.

John Wall had a game-high 25 points for the Rockets.
