Pelicans trade No. 53 to 76ers for cash considerations

We have the first trade of potentially many today as the NBA draft is t-minus 10 and a half hours away.

The New Orleans Pelicans have traded the No. 53 pick in tonight’s draft to the Philadelphia 76ers for cash considerations, first reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Per Charania, the 76ers sent $2 million in cash to the Pelicans for the pick.
