Pelicans Reactions: Knicks defense smothers Point Zion, Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans were outscored by 33 points at the 3-point line on Wednesday as their win streak was snapped at three games by the Knicks at home, 116-106.

The Point Zion Era had its first real setback as Zion Williamson finished with 25 points on 10-of-19 shooting with eight rebounds and seven assists. Brandon Ingram added 28 points as the duo again combined for half of the Pelicans scoring output.

Naji Marshall’s breakout game saw him tally 14 points while James Johnson added 13. Julius Randle, though, led all scorers with 32 while Alec Burks scored 14 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter as the Knicks pulled away down the stretch for the win.
