In an extremely horrifying incident, two influencers, Nina Santiago and Patrick Blackwood, were hit by a car while filming a food video at a restaurant in Houston, Texas.
On August 18, Nina — who posts under NinaUnrated — shared the horrifying moment she and Patrick were hit by an SUV while chowing down on some sliders at CuVee’s Culinary Creations.
In the video, Nina and Patrick did a cheeky cheers with the sliders before taking a bite, when all of a sudden, a car came barrelling through the window, shattering glass all over the influencers, their food, and knocking them over.
As staff members stared in pure horror, Patrick quickly pulled Nina away from the wreck.

“Tomorrow is NOT promised…”, Nina wrote alongside the footage, which you can watch below. But just a heads up, the video can be distressing for some viewers.

Following the incident, Nina shared an update, revealing that the collision had made her “beyond grateful to be alive”.
“It hit us directly me on his left, him on my right, as I bit into a delicious salmon slider. Out of nowhere, but we survived,” she wrote on Instagram.
“This experience showed me who truly matters; life’s too short for grudges or anger. Let go, forgive, live in the now, and cherish those around you. This could’ve been our last meal.
“Thankful to the universe and our angel pup Loyal, who passed in Nov 2024 and protected us from above.”
In the same IG post, the influencer shared a series of images from after the crash, including a cut-up eyebrow and hand.

In a separate post, Patrick shared his injuries after the crash, stating he was “grateful to see another day”.

In a recent YouTube video, in which the pair show the entire accident and the aftermath, Nina revealed that this was the second accident she had been in this month. Patrick also revealed that his mother had an accident recently.
“What a wild fucking day,” the pair said as they left the hospital.
According to TMZ, the driver was not hurt in the incident, and police have determined the collision to be a “freak accident” as the driver was not impaired.
As for the restaurant, it appears that it’s still open despite the incident, stating in an Instagram story, “Nothing is going to keep up [sic] from serving great food and service [sic] our community”.
